The video of the first R&D shows a group of people rehearsing and developing the show, in a venue by a river surrounded by big sailing boats.

Shots of them playing instruments, singing, operating puppets and discussing ideas are interspersed with interviews with the director and the musical director.

 

While these people are speaking, sometimes drawings and sketches of puppets or costumes are shown. They are colourful and covered with texture like netting and seaweed.
